putting the cart before the horse:I may be guilty of putting the cart before the horse, not once, but twice, right here in this new blog. First, I did not begin with God’s Word. Second, I may have assumed that you have a relationship with Jesus. If you do not know Jesus you may be much less inclined to ask, however, I know of many instances in which someone who professed not to believe in God would suddenly pray for help in a crisis. How many times do we hear “Oh God!” That expression can have different meaning from one person to another; from one situation to another. Sometimes it is more of an expression of swearing, which God does not want us to do. However, in some cases, someone might be feeling so desperate that they do pray in spite of their nonbelief. I certainly have not intended to make this blog for believers only; in fact, quite the opposite. I want those who do not believe in Jesus to come here and discover Him, repent of their sins, be baptized by immersion in Jesus’ Name and receive the Holy Ghost, the sign of which is speaking (or in my case, singing) in tongues. This is proclaimed in Acts chapter 2, verse 38. 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. NKJV (New King James Version)
